Myer hints at special offers after website crash
THE storm of technical issues engulfing the website for Australia's biggest department store chain could finally be easing, with Myer's two days of testing due to finish overnight.
In the heat of the Boxing Day sales being held in store and online, the digital gateway to the retail giant crumbled and has been largely offline since.
Myer has hinted that when the website returned, there would be a swag of special offers.
As of late yesterday, those regional shoppers hoping to snap up deals online were met only with an apology and in-store trading hours.
A spokeswoman told APN the problem appears to have been fixed, but the site would not return until they could be sure such a crash would not happen again.
