Arts Festival in final days

THE 79th Murwillumbah Festival of Performing Arts is set to conclude on Thursday, but an overwhelming number of talented performers are still preparing to take to the stage.

Murwillumbah Festival of Performing Arts president and secretary Arthur Holmes said the festival program had to be extended to Thursday in order to accommodate the number of competitors.

The event is being held in the Murwillumbah Civic Centre and performances generally start at 9am each day.
