Mur’bah man charged over child abuse material

A BRAY Park man has been charged with possessing child abuse material after a police raid yesterday.

The find was made after Tweed Heads detectives attended the home of the 26-year-old on Kyogle Rd at Bray Park, near Murwillumbah, about 10am yesterday.

The officers executed a search warrant and seized computers and storage devices from the home.

They also found several guns, including a pump-action shot-gun, four rifles, two shortened .22 rifles and ammunition.

Investigations are still continuing into the ownership of the guns.

The man was granted strict conditional bail and is due to face Tweed Heads Local Court on Monday, January 25.
