Mum goes into labour at Aussie World servo
THE appeal of Aussie World's new ride must be stronger than even they imagined, with an unborn child deciding today was his birthday just as mum and dad arrived at the park's service station.
Paramedics were called to the service station just before 7.15am when the mum went into labour at the service station.
A spokeswoman for Queensland Ambulance Service said the paramedics took the woman to Nambour hospital but her baby boy didn't want to wait and was delivered in the ambulance en-route to the hospital.
Mother and baby were both doing fine, the spokeswoman said.
