Multi-vehicle collision closes Pacific Highway

UPDATE: 2.40PM

The Pacific Highway has reopened in both directions at Chatsworth in the state's north after an earlier truck and car crash.

The highway was closed in both directions due to the crash near Chatsworth Road.

Diversions have been lifted but motorists are advised to expect intermittent closures as investigations continue at the site.

Motorists should continue to allow extra travel time.

 

 

EARLIER

EMERGENCY services are making their way to a multi-vehicle collision on the Pacific Highway, Chatsworth this morning.  

Early reports indicate two trucks and a car were involved in the incident with the northbound lanes closed. 

It's understood one person is trapped in their vehicle.

Authorities have asked motorists to use an alternate travel route, exercise caution and allow extra travel time.
