Motorcyclist who crashed Harley in Casino may be charged

A MOTORCYCLE rider who lost control of his black Harley Davidson doing laps in the industrial area of Casino has been taken to hospital for injuries and blood tests.

Police say the 56-year-old Casino man was not wearing a helmet when he lost control of his motorcycle on Tomki Drive near the intersection of Cassino Drive at about 5.50pm on Sunday.

He suffered a large graze to the right side of his face, a grazed chin, grazed right knee and large grazes on both hands and arms.

The man was treated by ambulance paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital for further treatment and blood tests for alcohol and drugs.

Police say further action may be taken pending blood test results, however they are looking into charges of driving unlicensed, unregistered and uninsured as well as not wearing a helmet.
