Mossy Rocks for hockey

LOCAL band Mossy Rocks will be playing at the Bottom Pub, Coraki, on Saturday, June 2, from 8pm to support Coraki Hockey Club.

Entry will be $10 and all proceeds from the night will be donated to the local sporting group to support their talented junior representative players.

Coraki Hockey Club continues to be a leading force in the local hockey competition. In 2010 and 2011 Coraki junior teams won all three divisions, and in 2011 the A-Grade men returned to the winner's circle with a 4-2 win over Northern Star.

Mossy Rocks has been busy playing in venues across the North Coast and into the Gold Coast for the past few years. Led by local girl Amanda Moss, Mossy Rocks have gained a large following and a reputation of the band that can "guarantee a great night out".

Amanda is supported by guitarist Lucas Zorzo, Brendan Mackney on drums, and Aaron McDermott on keys, and Gav Bourke on bass.

To support Coraki's local hockey club get out to the Bottom Pub on June 2. A courtesy bus will be available. Contact Barry on 6683 1740 for arrangement.
