A MALE model-come-hypnotherapist, a lawyer, four Gold Coast Titans, The Men of League Foundation and Dragons Abreast.

All will be guests at the launch of the 2010 Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League season at Ballina RSL on Friday night.

The first two mentioned guests are sure to spark some enquiry – but wait no longer.

The male model/hypnotherapist is former English rugby league representative Mark Edmondson and the lawyer is ex-NRL judiciary commissioner, Jim Hall.

Both will speak at the NRRRL season launch.

The night will double as the presentation of the inaugural Charity Shield with supported charities, The Men of League Foundation and Dragons Abreast, to be honoured and presented cheques by NRRRL president Robin Harley.

“The NRRRL is always looking to connect with community and partnering with Ballina RSL and establishing links with these two charities is our way of giving back,” Harley said.

Grafton Ghosts will also be crowned inaugural Charity Shield champions after defeating Ballina 40-10 in the final.

The launch costs just $10 – a pittance considering Edmondson is a motivational speaker and life coach who gets paid thousands to travel the country and pass on his wisdom.
