Mix-Up headed for Mumbai

The Downstairs Mix-Up have been making a name for themselves since winning the National Campus band Competition last year. They are even taking their North Coast funk to Mumbai in India when they play the Independence Rock Music Festival in August!

The Downstairs Mix-Up are an eight piece band with two back-up vocalists and a sax player, giving them a big laid back funk rock sound. They launched their debut EP at the Byron Bay Brewery (aka The Buddha Bar) in February and will return there on Friday night with support from Charlotte Marshall and Emily-Rose Sorensen.

The music starts at 7.30pm and it’s free.
