Missing children found trapped on rock face

THREE boys who went missing in bushland this morning near Nimbin have been located, trapped on a rock face.

The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter, police and police rescue have been tasked to assist the boys aged, 9, 12 and 12 who are in bushland about 1.1km east of Nimbin.

Police have made contact with the boys by mobile phone but have not physically sighted them.

It was reported the boys have no injuries.

The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter is preparing to winch the boys to safety.
