Minister proposes new plan to control foxes

MINISTER for Primary Industries Katrina Hodgkinson has proposed a new pest control order for foxes in NSW.

The proposed changes would provide additional options for co-ordinated control, meaning foxes could be more effectively targeted in localised campaigns.

The proposal would allow Local Lands Services to issue eradication orders to individual private landholders.

More details, including the full text of the proposed pest control order, frequently asked questions, and an online survey are available at the biosecurity section of the Department of Primary Industries website.
