Midginbil Hill for Year 4 and 5!

If the luggage was anything to go by then you would’ve thought the students of Years 4 and 5 at St. Brigid’s Primary School Kyogle were going on camp for a month but it was just three days at Midginbil Hill Outdoor Education Centre near Uki!
With 2 teachers and 4 parents ready for a packed programme of events, 31 students headed off on the bus on Monday and safely returned on Wednesday, of this week.
There were early morning starts followed by action packed days that included activities such as pioneering, mud brick making, orienteering, indoor rock climbing, team challenges, problem solving games and games that needed the students to use their initiative to complete and even a snake talk– it was a great three days and the students had a fantastic time!
Quotes from the students as they arrived back included – ‘It was great’, ‘It was so hot’, ‘I am so tired but it was a lot of fun’, ‘The talk at night time was really interesting. We got to hold a snake!’, ‘The mud brick making was the best part’!
Sounds like a great trip all round!
