Metgasco opens Casino shopfront
METGASCO opened up its Casino office to the public this morning as a 'shop-front'.
Metgasco chief executive Peter Henderson reported around 15 locals attended the event to seek information about Metgasco's activities directly from company staff.
"With our 15 staff living and working in Casino, Metgasco has always had a strong local presence. The shop-front was an opportunity for members of the community to visit our work and ask questions about the industry and our activities," Mr Henderson said.
Mr Henderson also said that he would be announcing a new consultative committee in December.
"The shop-front and the Community Consultative Committee is part of a broader campaign by Metgasco to consult more widely about our industry." Mr Henderson said.
Metgasco's share price dropped 8% on Thursday to its lowest ever price of 15.5c.
