Max tracks stolen at Lennox Head on Monday night

POLICE investigating the theft of four-wheel drive equipment that was chained to a car at Lennox Head on Monday night are appealing for information from the public.

"Between 7.15pm and 10pm last night, four max tracks were stolen from a grey Toyota Landcruiser parked at the intersection of Rocky Point Rd and The Coast Rd, Lennox Head," Richmond LAC posted on its Facebook page.

Max tracks are portable tracks that provide a stable surface in the sand or mud while four-wheel driving.

They were locked to the roof racks on the Landcruiser when they were stolen.
