Masked man involved in Glasshouse armed robbery

POLICE are investigating an armed robbery at a service station on Steve Irwin Way overnight.

About 8.30pm, a man entered the service station wearing a grey hooded jacket and a black ski mask.

The man produced a knife and demanded money and tobacco products from the attendant.

A police spokesman said the man has then fled the scene with the stolen tobacco products and a sum of cash and was last seen running towards Bowen St.

The attendant wasn't physically injured as a result of the robbery.

The man is described as 175cm tall, slim and Caucasian.

Investigations into the incident will continue today.
