Man stable after ladder fall
A TABULAM man who fell from a ladder while lopping a tree at his property on Monday is in a stable condition in Lismore Base Hospital.
The 65-year-old man was using an extension ladder to lop branches from a large eucalyptus tree when he slipped and fell several metres about 3pm.
He received a suspected punctured lung and several broken ribs and was airlifted to Lismore Base Hospital by the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter.
He has undergone further examinations at hospital to see if he is suffering further injuries.
