Teenager stabbed several times
An 18-year-old man was transported to Lismore Base Hospital on Saturday night after he was stabbed.
Paramedics attended a “public area” on Bridge Street at North Lismore just after 9pm on Saturday.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said the teenage victim sustained several stab wounds to his abdomen and was transported to Lismore Base Hospital in a stable condition.
The spokeswoman said another person was transported to hospital but did not have details of their injuries.
Police believe, while there were conflicting versions of the incident, that the stabbing resulted from an altercation between two males at McLennan Lane address.
