Man injured in tractor roll-over

THE Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was sent to a tractor roll-over at Mt Burrell, between Kyogle and Murwillumbah about 12.20pm.

Medic, Dr Erin Martin, and a NSW Ambulance paramedic were on-board the aircraft but returned to the Lismore base shortly after.

It is understood the patient’s injuries were not as severe as first thought and he was taken to hospital by road ambulance.

The patient is believed to have suffered a fractured arm.
