Man in hospital after Goonellabah crash

A MAN in his 50's was taken to Lismore Base Hospital with minor injuries following a two car crash at Goonellabah this morning.

A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said paramedics were called to Ballina Rd at 8:10am after reports two cars had collided.

When they arrived at the scene paramedics treated a 51-year-old man for minor injuries.

Police, Fire and Rescue NSW and Essential Energy also attended the incident.

Essential Energy staff are working to repair a damaged light pole.

The 51-year-old man was taken by ambulance to Lismore Base Hospital in a stable condition.
