Man killed by falling tree at Teven

UPDATE, 5pm: A MAN has died on a Teven property after being hit by a falling tree. 

When paramedics arrived at the scene earlier this afternoon, the patient at first appeared semi-conscious but was suffering a suspected compression head injury and went into cardiac arrest at the scene.

A doctor from the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter confirmed that the man had passed away. 

ORIGINAL STORY: THE WESTPAC Helicopter is en route to Teven where a tree has fallen on a 61-year-old man.  Ambulance paramedics have arrived at the Houghlahans Creek Rd property, with the semi-conscious man suffering a suspected broken leg and head injuries.
