Man found with Ice, cannabis and cash in South Lismore

A MAN has been refused bail after being charged with a number of drug offences last night.

Richmond Local Area Command Inspector Doug Conners said at around 6.15pm last night a 30-year-old man was stopped in a vehicle in Charlton Avenue, South Lismore.

Police spoke to the man, and as a result of interactions with him, Insp Conners said, they had reason to search him.

Police found a quantity of cash, cannabis, methylamphetamine (Ice), and equipment used in the administration of cannabis.

The man was taken to Lismore Police Station where he was charged with:

  • Dealing with property suspected of being proceeds of crime
  • Two counts of possessing a prohbitied durg
  • Possessing equipment used in the administration of a prohibited drug
  • Supply of an indictable quantity of a prohibited drug

The man was bail refused to appear at Lismore Local Court today.
