Man flown to hospital following fall at Northern Rivers dam

A 21-year old male has been flown to Gold Coast Hospital in a stable condition after falling seven metres meters off a cliff edge at the Clarrie Hall Dam, near Uki.

The man landed on rocks before continuing into the water.

He is believed to have suffered chest injuries and a fractured pelvis, ambulance personnel said.

The local VRA helped retrieve the patient from the dam area before he was airlifted to Gold Coast Hospital by the Queensland rescue helicopter.
