Man seriously hurt in Northern Rivers motorbike crash

A 67-year-old man is in hospital after he fell off his motorcycle and down a 20m embankment.

The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter said they were tasked just after 1pm to Clothiers Creek where the incident occurred.

The helicopter, NSW Ambulance and Volunteer Rescue Association were on scene.

The man suffered leg, chest and abdominal injuries.

He was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital by the helicopter in a stable condition.
