Man drowns in pool at Byron Bay

A 58-year-old man has drowned after being found unconscious in a pool of a Byron Bay home last night.

The man who was swimming in a resident's pool at Belongil Court, was found floating face down in the pool at about 9pm.

The exact cause of the drowning is unknown and police investigations are underway.
