Man bitten during Lismore assault

POLICE are investigating an alleged assault where a man was bitten at Fawcetts Bridge, Lismore on Wednesday about 9.30pm.

Police said the victim was approached by two males described as being Aboriginal in appearance and both in their mid 20s who asked for the victim’s wallet and then assaulted him when he could not comply.

The first man is described as being short and overweight wearing a black shirt and dark coloured shorts.

The other man is described as being taller and thinner than the first man, wearing jeans and a blue coloured flannelette shirt.

The victim received a bite mark during the assault.
