Male teacher accused of abusing students to stand trial

A TRIAL date for a Northern Rivers teacher accused of drugging and sexually assaulting students has been set.

Peter Wayne Graham Scott, 61, allegedly gave four boys illicit drugs before abusing them while he was teaching at a school on Sydney's Northern Beaches in the early 80s.

He was arrested at his South Golden Beach home last year.

In recent years Mr Scott taught at both the Mullumbimby and Byron Bay High Schools.

He will front a Sydney court on February 25.
