Mal classic is bigger

THE Evans Head Malibu Club is preparing for a bigger and better Malibu Classic over the October long weekend, 2012.

There will be all styles of longboard surfing plus retro single-fin boards, with contestants aging from 5 to 65.

After surfing, the social events take place at the Bowlo, with a band Saturday night, footy grand final on Sunday, and the presentation at 3pm Monday.

A board will be given to one lucky contestant each night.

The EH Malibu club would like to thank the Bowlo for its ongoing major sponsorship and support as well as the businesses and community of Evans Head for always making the visitors welcome in this great town.
