Longer shows: No scaled back performances at Bluesfest
MOST Bluesfest headliners will be offering 90-minute sets - not scaled back festival performances.
This includes D'Angelo, The National, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Tom Jones, Brian Wilson performing Pet Sounds, Jackson Browne, City and Colour, The Mick Fleetwood Blues Band, Melissa Etheridge and The Cat Empire, among others.
A number of artists are performing solid 120-minute sets at Bluesfest, including D'Angelo at his second performance on Easter Saturday, Tedeschi Trucks Band on Thursday, March 24, Joe Bonamassa on Easter Saturday and UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue on Easter Sunday.
The Bluesfest 2016 line up was completed last week with the final announcement.
Californian band Eagles of Death Metal, whose audience in Paris was attacked by terrorists last November, will be making their Bluesfest debut in 2016.
Also part of the final announcement was Australian band Chain.
- Bluesfest 2016 will be held at Tyagarah this Easter from March 24 to 28.
