Long trip home after Easter - check out Woodburn for a place to stop

THE Transport Management Centre are continually updating on the heavy traffic across NSW as families make their way home from Easter celebrations.

Motorists continue to experience significant delays in parts of the South Coast, Southern Tablelands, Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Hunter and North Coast.

On the North Coast:

  • Southbound traffic is queued on the Pacific Highway in Kundabung for around 8km, adding an extra 15 minutes travel time.
  • Southbound traffic is queued on the Pacific Highway in Macksville for around 2.5km, adding an extra 10 minutes travel time.
  • Traffic is heavy in both directions on the Pacific Highway in Woodburn, adding up to 10 minutes travel time for northbound and southbound motorists.

For motorists passing through our lovely area and need a break at Woodburn, there are public toilet facilities at the park, which is also a chance to stretch your legs.

Supplies can be bought at the newsagents, chemist and local IGA.

For those who may need a longer stay over the Rod n Reel Hotel has motel accommodation and there is also the Woodburn Motel to the north of the village.
