Locals get head start on Splendour

THE queue went for two blocks and continued for most of the day but was worth it for punters who turned up to buy their tickets to Splendour in the Grass.

Pre-sale tickets available only to residents of Byron and Lennox Head were on sale yesterday at the Hotel Great Northern.

General tickets go on sale on Friday at 9am and are available through Moshtix.

For more information about the festival, to be held on July 27-29, visit splendourinthegrass.com.
