Fundraiser for a renewable energy-powered Drill Hall

LOCAL group, Corem, have been working towards the construction of Solar Panels on the Mullumbimby Drill Hall Roof, and to help the project along they will be holding a film night.

The film and information fundraising night for the Drill Hall solar project will be held at the hall on Friday night.

The film Black Hole: The story of the Leard Forest Coal Mine Blockade will be shown, and a live broadcast will go ahead with the Leard Forest Blockade with Muzz Drechsler.

Byron Shire mayor Simon Richardson will MC the night.

The movie is the launch for COREMs Solar Solution for Mullumbimby and the Planet crowdfunding campaign to install solar on the DRILL HALL.

Doors open 6.30, movie at 8pm.

Tickets are $20/$15 at the door with proceeds going toward their solar project.
