Real estate agent Chrissy England is offering one of her tenant's properties -- with the owner's approval -- to passengers who are expected to be brought ashore any minute.

"Oh my god absolutely, please, my heart," she said.

"If they require it tonight, they can have it. People need to be showered, to be warm, and to be in bed."

Ms England said anyone in the tight-knit Agnes Water community would do the same thing if they had spare beds.

"When you see something like, this it's what you do."

Local fisherman with boats are also thought to have ventured out to the burning boat to assist emergency crews with the rescue, according to social media users.
