Lismore take-away robbed at knifepoint

POLICE are appealing to the public for information following the armed robbery of a Lismore fast food business last night.

Richmond Local Area Command supervisor, Sergeant Andrew Lawrance, said a man entered the business on Ballina Rd at Lismore at 9.18pm last night and allegedly produced a knife and demanded money.

Sgt Lawrance said he the fled the store on foot with an amount of cash and was last seen running in a westerly direction along Ballina Rd toward the Lismore.

The man is described as Caucasian, 170cm to 175cm tall, of medium build, aged in his mid to late 20's with short light coloured hair.

He was wearing a black t-shirt, dark coloured track pants and joggers.
