Soprano set to enchant with Lismore Symphony Orchestra

LISMORE Symphony Orchestra is set to delight you once again with the first performance on Saturday, June 15.

Orchestra spokesperson, Penny Kempler said the concert "will feature guest soprano, Lecia Robertson".

"Lecia has performed with the State Opera Companies of Queensland, South Australia and Victoria," Mrs Kempler said.

"She will perform two enchantingly beautiful songs, Vilia from Lehar's The Merry Widow, and Vissi d'arte, vissi d'amore from Puccini's Tosca.

"This season, our program will include well-known classical works by Beethoven, Brahms, Dvorak, Mozart and more, including Australia's own Percy Grainger.

"People can take advantage of our very reasonable prices and warm their souls in this chilly weather with the beautiful sounds of the region's orchestral players."
