Kurt Wilson takes honours

 LISMORE Speedway’s annual presentation night at the Italo-Australia Club in North Lismore on Saturday night saw several of its competitors honoured for the 2009/10 season.

Speedway racers were awarded silver and gold medals for the best and fairest competitor for the recently completed season.

The gold medal was won by Kurt Wilson following yet another strong season; his efforts in the driver’s seat obviously noted by the panel of judges.

Other competition medal winners on the night were Stuart Hall (ANCAs), David Santin (wingless sprintcars), Luke Watt (junior sedans), Steve Quirk (street stocks) and Cameron Nixon (4-cylinder sedans).

A big crowd was on hand for the annual medal presentation which was jointly presented by Lismore Speedway, Lismore Automobile Club, Summerland Street Saloon Club and Lismore ANCA Nationals Club.

Promoter David Lander presented the gold medal.
