Lismore man charged over supply of Ice

A MAN has been arrested on a number of charges relating to the supply of the drug Ice.

Richmond Local Area Command Inspector Dough Conners said shortly before 11pm last night, a 49-year-old Lismore man was stopped by police in Ewing Street Lismore.

Police had cause to search the man and located about half an ounce - an indictable quantity - of what police will allege was methylamphetamine (Ice) as well as a sum of money.

The male was arrested and taken to Lismore Police Station where he was charged with a number of drug and property offences:

  • Supply indictable quantity of the drug ice
  • Deal with property suspected proceeds of crime
  • Possess an indictable quantity of the drug ice

That man was granted conditional bail to appear in Lismore Local Court on June 6.
