Lifesavers and chopper training at Sharpes beach

IF YOU spot surf lifesavers and the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter at Ballina's Sharpes Beach this morning there hasn't been another shark attack.

The rescue organisations are just training together in preparation for a busy summer.

A Surf Life Saving Far North Coast spokesman said the activity in the water and on Sharpes Beach was part of a training exercise and media interview.
