Life in jail for man who murdered pregnant partner

CRAIG Andrew Holzberger has been sentenced to life in jail for the murder of pregnant woman Tenille Hass.

Holzberger was found guilty of Tenille's murder in March this year and this morning faced Bundaberg Supreme Court for sentencing.

Justice Duncan McMeekin, who presided over the trial in March this year and over today's sentence, set Holzberger's parole eligibility date at February 18, 2027 - 15 years after he was arrested for the murder.

The trial in March ran for six days with 26 witnesses called including police investigators, paramedics, health experts, Tenille's father Darryl and Christopher Green, the father of Tenille's baby and the only other person in the house when she died.
