Letter: Was Max cat-napped?

THE Gillett family have my deepest sympathy.

My beloved cat Max went missing two weeks ago, three days before his first birthday.

I am absolutely deva- stated, inconsolable; he was the perfect companion for an 85-year-old.

He was placid, affection- ate and such fun.

He had been micro- chipped and de-sexed and given flea and worm and heartworm treatment every four weeks.

He is the fourth cat to go missing in this area; no bodies found, so presumably stolen.

It seems the only way to keep your cat safe is by shutting it indoors all the time. So hard on it.

S Pratt,

Lismore Heights.
