Lennox parks its business clout

JULIAN Simpson will meet with other Lennox Head business people in the town's beachfront park to showcase his goods tomorrow.

Business by the Beach is a first-time event for small home-based and other business people in
Lennox Head to get out into the community.

Mr Simpson, 34, combined his passion for surfing and art a few years ago when he created his home-based business Prosurfboards.

"With my contacts in the industry I was able to source professional surfer's boards and then use them as canvases for art," he said.

Lennox Head Chamber of Commerce president Brett Jones said the chamber was approached by a few local businesses with the concept and were unanimous in supporting the initiative.

The event will be held in the park opposite the Lennox Point Hotel from 10 am to 2pm.
