LEGO contest proves everything is awesome in Australia

IN AUSTRALIA, everything is awesome.

So it's no surprise that block makers LEGO are calling on us all to put our imagination to the test and show the beauty of our nation through the medium of LEGO.

The LEGO Build Australia campaign is calling on all Aussies to recreate some of our most important icons and other "big things".

Already, block-headed creators have whipped up a Melbourne tram, the Sunshine Coast's Big Pineapple, the Big Prawn, all the way to the natural majesty of the 12 Apostles and Barossa Valley.

Every entry has a chance of winning LEGO prizes or even an invitation to the opening of LEGOLAND Discovery Centre when it arrives in Melbourne in April.

The best of the best may also end up in the LEGO Creative Workshop.

Want to get involved? Check out how it works over here.

You'll have to be quick, entries close on January 26.
