A Weekend of latin dance and music with workshops and social dancing has been announced for Byron Bay on Valentine Day's weekend next month.

On Saturday, February 13, Latin Live will be featuring live band Bombolaye from Brisbane, plus some performances by profesional dancers and Latin DJs.

Guest dancers will include Gabrielle Cardenas dancing samba plus Arturo and Madalyn from Mexico and Brisbane, with funky salsa and cha cha cha.

Also in the line up for the evening is Latin DJ Julio Cardenas, who promises to play a great selection of hot tracks to keep punters dancing all night long.

Local dancing schools will also be showcased including Sassy Salsa, La Salsa, French Connection Dance and Tumbao Latino dance.

A variety of Latin dance workshops will be available for people interested in starting up or improving their dancing skills over that weekend.

The weekend-long event is organised by Picante Productions, plus local Latin dance schools.
