Last woman fired from Apprentice

THIS year's Celebrity Apprentice winner will surely be a male after Lauryn Eagle was fired tonight.

The champion water skier and her team mate Ben Dark lost a charity song challenge to finalists Ian "Dicko" Dickson and Nathan Jolliffe.

Their up-beat reggae track You Can Make the Sun Shine was not quite as polished and Dickon and Jolliffe's pop song.

"It was really disappointing," Eagle said.

"I would have rather just come out half way through then make it this far and not make it to the final two….. but I was the last girl standing."

Eagle, who raised nearly $130,000 for the Wesley Mission, said working with Dark was fun but challenging.

"Ben has that attitude that 'no this is ours, we're winning'.  He's very positive and optimistic. He's never on the back foot and that's what I love about him," she said.

"But Ben's hard work mate. Ben and I had a  lot of blues off camera. There were a lot of clashes."

Loyalty lines were drawn on age, with Dark tipping Dickson to win while Eagle hopes Jolliffe takes out the Celebrity Apprentice title.

"My money is on Nathan," she said.

"I think he'll give it absolutely everything."

In Wednesday's series final, Jolliffe and Dickson will re-record their winning charity song and then produce and present a music clip for it.
