Last chance ceramics are Xsightin

The Xsightin-ceramic Xhibition closes tonight at the Serpentine Gallery, North Lismore.

Featuring the work of Peter Salkeld, the exhibition is the culmination of his three years at Lismore TAFE.

The showcasing also includes the work of his daughter, Claire Salkeld, who has recently completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Victorian College of the Arts.

Salkeld says the response to the ceramic art has been fantastic and their "whimsical style narrative" has been well communicated.

The 'Xhibition' draws on topics like coal seam gas, 'Lock the Gate' and the "'Xploitation' of mining in our country".

Xsightin-ceramic Xhibition is on tonight from 7pm at 17 Boot Street, North Lismore. Drinks and nibbles available.  Free.
