Kyogle mayor helps dish up new community kitchen

KYOGLE MAYOR Danielle Mulholland performed the official opening duties yesterday of a community kitchen with the support of Peter Kalytis of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

The community kitchen will operate three days a week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday - from 12-

2.30pm and will serve free nutritious meals to everyone who comes along.

The purpose built kitchen was set up in response to a community need and will be run by the Kyogle

Seventh Day Adventist Church in partnership with the already successful Kyogle Food Bank.

The Community Kitchen is located in the same building as Food Bank at 8-12 Bloore Street opposite

the Kyogle Council Chambers.

The kitchen will begin serving meals from Monday.
