Kyogle man falls from roof and ends up in hospital

A MAN in his 60s is being treated in Lismore Base Hospital after he fell from a roof and hit a tree at Kyogle.

A NSW Ambulance spokesman said paramedics were called to Mount St just before 1pm after reports a man had injured his leg after falling.

The spokesman said when paramedics arrived they found the man, who fell several metres, had impacted with a tree.

The man was treated at the scene for a puncture wound to his upper left thigh/ buttock area, chest and leg injuries.

He was taken to Lismore Base Hospital by ambulance in a stable condition.
