Hundreds of people from across the Northern Rivers enjoyed what has been labelled the 'best Kyogle Show in recent memory' on Saturday.

Kyogle Show Society president Brian Eichmann said the 2015 event began with a campdraft at the grounds on Friday.

"By all accounts, we had a bigger and better show than we have had for some time," he said.

"We had increased entries all round in all sections; cattle, poultry, the main ring and the pavilions."

Mr Eichmann said the show had been revamped for 2015.

"Everyone knows it improves each year, but this year is a standout," he said.

Winner of this year's Kyogle Showgirl competition was Kimberley Langley.
