KYOGLE Football Club preparation is well under way for the up-coming season.

Both Allan Clarke and Kerry Jack have been reappointed as the senior men's coaches and they will also be assisting with the senior ladies on training nights.

The club is looking to build on last year's result when they finished in sixth position in the combined first/second division competition and are planning to nominate in first division this season.

The club will also have a second team playing in a lower division. After failing to gather sufficient players last season to field a ladies team, early indications show a renewed interest from players and the club is hopeful of being able to nominate a ladies team this year.

Training will commence on Thursday, January 30 at the high school field from 6pm and will normally be on every Tuesday and Thursday from then.

They encourage players to register on the 'my football club' website as soon as possible with the preseason competition nomination for both men's and ladies team due by February 10 and the first round is scheduled to start on Friday, February 28.

The club has kept its fees the same as last season with senior fees being $290 for players over 18 and $200 for players under 18.

For more information contact Allan Clarke on 0438 734 474, Kerry Jack on 0429 321 714 or club registrar Glenn Rose on 0418 264 968.
