Kravitz rocks Twitter from Byron

A PICTURE posted on Twitter yesterday by American musician Lenny Kravitz gave a glimpse of a group of rock royalty relaxing together in Byron Bay.

"Telling war stories in Byron Bay. From L to R: Craig Ross, John Paul Jones, Seasick Steve and Andrew Stockdale and me", was the message sent by Kravitz to his more than three million followers on microblogging site Twitter.

Within minutes, fans from overseas and Australia started to comment on the picture of rock legends.

Craig Ross has played guitar in Lenny Kravitz's band since 1991.

John Paul Jones is an English musician and was the bassist, mandolinist, and keyboardist for English rock band Led Zeppelin, and played last year alongside American blues musician Seasick Steve at some music festivals. Seasick Steve is part of the confirmed line-up for the upcoming Bluesfest.

Andrew Stockdale is the lead singer and lead guitarist of Australian hard rock band Wolfmother.

Stockdale lives in the Northern Rivers.

Lenny Kravitz is staying in the area for a day after his performance in Brisbane as part of his current tour.

He is due to perform in Hobart tomorrow, before leaving for Japan.

Kravitz has mixed his touring with promotion for his latest film The Hunger Games, which is the current number one grossing movie in Australia and other countries.
