Kids walk the yellow brick road with Wizard of Oz Show

LOTS of enthusiastic children walked down the yellow brick road when The Wizard of Oz Show played at Lismore Workers Club yesterday.

The pre-show drama workshop held under the show's Rainbow Crossing initiative was exciting as 40 children clicked their heels three times and were transformed into Munchkins on stage in an hour.

Mayor of Lismore, Jenny Dowell, assisted in bringing this experience to town with a contribution from the Mayor's fund. She was present to encourage the children and receive toys for the local hospital.

Ted Hoddinott, the club's Marketing Manager, looked forward to facilitating more such events by The Wizard of Oz Show for the community in the future.   .
